TABLE OF CONTENTS
I'm just following up on…/I wanted to check in on…

1. I’m just following up on…
I'm just following up on the budget questions I sent on Tuesday.
2. I wanted to check in on…
I wanted to check in on the hiring timeline we discussed last week.
3. Just checking in to see if you’ve had a chance to…
避免用「Why haven’t you replied?」。
Just checking in to see if you've had a chance to review the draft agenda.
4. I know you have a lot on your plate…
I know you have a lot on your plate — when would be a good time this week to connect on the launch plan?
5. Bringing this back to the top of your inbox…
Bringing this back to the top of your inbox in case it got buried. Short version: we still need your sign-off on the vendor quote.
6. Have you had a chance to review…?
Have you had a chance to review the attached contract?
7. Could you let me know if this is still a priority?
讓對方有空間說「not right now」,而不必發生衝突。
Could you let me know if this is still a priority for Q4, or if we should revisit in January?
8. Please let me know if you need anything else from me.
Please let me know if you need anything else from me before you decide.

9. Thank you for your time today — here’s a quick recap.
Thank you for your time today — here's a quick recap of what we agreed.
10. As discussed, the next steps are…
As discussed, the next steps are: (1) Mia sends the revised deck by Thursday, (2) I book the client review for Monday.
11. Just to confirm, you’ll handle… and I’ll…
Just to confirm, you'll handle the pricing sheet and I'll update the timeline.
12. I’ve attached the notes from our call.
I've attached the notes from our call. The key decision was to keep the soft launch on Nov 12.

13. Looking forward to your thoughts on the proposal.
Looking forward to your thoughts on the proposal. Happy to adjust the scope if needed.
14. I wanted to circle back on the proposal I sent on…
I wanted to circle back on the proposal I sent on Oct 14 — have you had a chance to look at the pricing options?
15. Happy to walk through the details if useful.
Happy to walk through the details if useful — I can keep it to 15 minutes.
16. Would a 15-minute call this week help?
Atlassian 的追蹤信建議強調要有明確的行動呼籲,而不是只寫「Let me know what you think.」。
Would a 15-minute call this week help? I’m free Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.
避免「As per my last email,」這類說法,因為它們經常聽起來像在指責對方。
17. Just a gentle reminder about…
Just a gentle reminder about the signed NDA — we need it before we can share the data room.
18. We need a decision by… to stay on schedule.
We need a decision by Friday to stay on schedule for the printer booking.
19. Could you weigh in before…?
Could you weigh in before Wednesday noon so we can lock the agenda?
20. This is time-sensitive — could you reply by…?
This is time-sensitive — could you reply by 3 p.m. Thursday with a yes or no on Option B?
21. If now isn’t a good time, when might work better?
If now isn't a good time, when might work better for a quick review?
22. If you’re not the right person, I’d appreciate a pointer.
If you're not the right person for vendor approvals, I'd appreciate a pointer to who is.
23. If you’ve gone in another direction, no problem at all.
If you've gone in another direction, no problem at all — thank you for considering us.
24. Please let me know if you need more time.
Please let me know if you need more time; I can hold the draft until next week.
25. I’ll assume we’re pausing this unless I hear otherwise.
I'll assume we're pausing this for now unless I hear otherwise by Friday.
26. I’ll close the loop on my side for now.
I'll close the loop on my side for now. Happy to reopen whenever the timing is better.
27. Thanks again for considering this.
28. I look forward to hearing from you.
29. Happy to adjust based on your feedback.
30. Please reply when you have a moment.

Hi Maya,
I’m just following up on the draft timeline I sent on Monday. Have you had a chance to review the dates for the soft launch?
If now isn’t a good time, when might work better?
Thanks, Alex
Hi team,
Thank you for your time today — here’s a quick recap.
As discussed, the next steps are:
- Jordan finalizes the pricing sheet by Thursday.
- I send the client the revised proposal on Friday morning.
Just to confirm, Jordan owns pricing and I own the client email.
Best regards, Alex
|---|---|---|
As per my last email… | 聽起來像在指責對方 | I'm just following up on… |
I haven't heard back from you. | 把焦點放在對方的沉默上 | Have you had a chance to review…? |
Following up / Checking in alone in the subject | 含糊;在手機上更沒有力道 | Next steps on [project] |
Please revert soonest | 生硬且過時 | Could you reply by Thursday? |
| Three questions in one email | 很容易被往後拖延 | One clear ask |
